I saved up opening this box until Christmas and it was definitely a test of my patience and resilience. I made it though and now I can share all the awesome items that came in this box.

The theme for the December box was:

Having a look inside this box…

There was a mystery Harry Potter mini funko… and I got Hagrid. Isn’t he cute?

This is a blank greeting card with a design of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. I love the artwork and it will most likely be featured on my bookcase.

This book pin is a little design of the Lord of the Rings book.

The next item is this lovely sticker with a quote from A Darker Shade of Magic.

The last bookish item in the box are these bookish coasters based on The Game of Thrones.

The book that was featured in the December box was Of Fire and Stars… I was really anticipating this book and am really looking forward to reading it.

This is a shot of the blurb from the inside flap of the book jacket to give you an idea of what this book is about.

As always, there is a letter from the author explaining the book to the readers.

For bookish swag, there was a bookmark featuring Of Fire and Stars on one side and Carve The Mark on the other side.

This is the pretty spoiler card that was in this box. The graphics on these cards are always stunning and I need to create a feature wall or something with these cards.

These little book pins are a relatively new feature from Owlcrate. They feature a small part of the spoiler card.

The theme for the January box is Classic Remix…

The following is from the Owlcrate January theme announcement:

🌹 This box will contain a gorgeous new YA novel that is a beautiful retelling of a classic story. It’s atmospheric and romantic, and the writing is truly stunning. We know you’re going to adore it!
🌹 All of the items in the box are inspired by classic literature, especially children’s stories. But don’t fret – you’ll still be able to enjoy every item even if you haven’t read the original stories they’re inspired by.
🌹 All of the extra bookish goodies were created exclusively for this box! Each item was a true collaboration with each small business involved, and we hope you love them!

So, that is the December box… there are some amazing items and the coasters are truly unique. I am really looking forward to reading Of Fire And Stars. Lastly, I am really keen for the January box… I have an idea what the book may be and if I’m right than it will be awesome.
