Last year my (foster) siblings asked why I didn’t have an Elf on the Shelf at my place. As something fun this year and something to share with my siblings I did Elf on the Shelf for Christmas 2016. I thought it may be interesting to share what “Frosty” the elf got up to during this time.
Frosty first turned up on the Christmas Tree taking a perch. I showed this picture to my siblings and the 3yo screamed… literally screamed.
On day 2 Frosty was leaning on my homemade Advent Calendar.
For some reason Frosty is a gymnast and decided to swing off of a Christmas sign which was hanging on the wall.
Frosty climbed the Christmas Tree to sit up next to the star.
On day 5 it was time for a Gingerbread House.
Frosty began sneaking a peak in some of the Christmas gifts.
Frosty was missing home and decided to try to ride one of the reindeer.
Attention! Frosty is helping the Nutcracker guard the gifts.
Time for a little Eggnog, thanks Frosty.
Frost reminded me that there was only 15 days left until Christmas.
It wouldn’t be the holiday season without a Holiday Movie Night.
Frosty decided to help with getting the gift tags ready.
Playing with the bows.
Needing some exercise Frosty is climbing the door with her candy cane trying to get to the wreath.
Only 10 more days til Christmas… thanks Frosty.
Frosty is missing the snow and is playing with the snow globe.
Frosty has found a place to chill out.
Time to play some cards… holiday style.
Ha Ha Ha… Frosty has found her own special chaise.
Frosty is helping with the gift wrapping.
Gingerbread men are a staple of the holiday season… thank you Frosty.
When frosty is bored she plays with bonbons with the snowman.
I think Frosty may think she is still in the North Pole, getting ready for Christmas Eve.
Christmas Eve tradition, reading The Night Before Christmas. When it is summer and too hot for a fire you improvise.
What did you think of 2016 Elf on the Shelf? My siblings absolutely loved it and that was worth it for me!
Keep Calm and Read On,
