The Timehopathon is a brand new readathon that focuses on reading books based around different time periods. This readathon is hosted by Paper Faerie, Cherrie Walker, Fred Weasley Died Laughing, The Bookish Babbler, and Tiny Book Dragon. This readathon will be running from the 20th to the 26th of February. There are five trading challenges for this readathon.

THE CHALLENGES:

1. Read a classic
2. Pick one of our childhood recommendations to read
3. Read a book released in 2016
4. Read a dystopian book or a book set in the future
5. Read a historical fiction

MY TBR:

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

This book will meet Challenge 1. I started re-reading the Narnia series last year and I want to continue on with this series in 2017.

The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck by Beatrix Potter

This book will meet Challenge 2. This was the childhood book recommendation from Cherrie Walker.

The Crowns Game by Evelyn Skye

This will meet Challenge 3. I was gifted this book for Christmas and really want to get to reading it.

Scythe by Neal Shusterman

This meets Challenge 4. Scythe is a dystopian book which focuses on a future time when there is no death and therefore there are Scythe’s that are required to meat out death and engage in population control.

Anastasia’s Secret by Susanne Dunlap

This will meet Challenge 5. I have been extremely interested in the Romanovs  and this book is a historical fiction about the final days of the Romaovs with some romance mixed in.
