REVIEW:

Sailor Moon is one of my favourite anime’s from my childhood. Therefore I absolutely had to read the manga that started this franchise. Volume 1 focuses on Usagi’s discovery that she is Sailor Moon, fighting evil by moonlight and introduces the Negaverse and the danger this holds in store for Earth.

So, Usagi’s character is dorky and geeky and extremely girly, which can be overwhelming but I do know her character will be balanced out by the other Sailor Scouts. The plot gave me serious nostalgia and I loved every minute of reading it. The artwork was stunning with the black and white drawings with the anime style characters. I am looking forward to continuing on this series in anime form.
