Something is wrong with Kaylee Cavanaugh…

She can sense when someone near her is about to die. And when that happens, a force beyond her control compels her to scream bloody murder. Literally.

Kaylee just wants to enjoy having caught the attention of the hottest boy in school. But a normal date is hard to come by when Nash seems to know more about the dark forces behind Kaylee’s power than she does.

And when classmates start dropping dead for no apparent reason and only Kaylee knows who’ll be next, she realises that finding a boyfriend is the least of her worries!

REVIEW:

A new mythology with unique ideas and carried out spectacularly. I loved exploring this high school paranormal novel where Kaylee discovers she is a banshee or (Bean Sidhe) and she sings for the dead. It’s a family thing and therefore her family has some explaining to do.

The concept of Bean Sidhe and what they can do is something I have not read before and I really enjoyed it. As people are dropping around Kaylee she must come to terms with what she is and what is happening if she has any hope of helping. The family element was beautifully done and the twists and turns within the book were a constant surprise.

This is the start of anew series featuring paranormal creatures not often found in YA literature. This paranormal murder mystery was packed with intriguing ideas and a new mythology for me to sink my teeth into.
