UNBOXING: MARCH 2017 FAIRYLOOT BOX

image

My March 2017 Fairyloot box was late this time but it has finally arrived! Whoop! Now, this is the one year anniversary box and therefore we have this gorgeous purple box instead of the normal black box. Fairyloot is a monthly bookish subscription box that focuses on Fantasy books. This box is based out of the U.K. and has a theme each month. The theme for March was:

When the box is first opened this is what you see…

Let’s just take a moment to appreciate the quote on the side of the box.

The first item is a stunning dragon scale scarf made by Givart.

imageThe second item are these unicorn & rainbow fairy lights. I love fairy lights and will use these in the future. These fairy lights were made by Mustard.

The third item is this mermaid pocket mirror. The design is gorgeous and was drawn by Book Otter.

The fourth item is a Nephilim candle that I could smell when I first opened the box. This candle smells amazing. It was created by Geeky Clean.

The fifth item in the box are these absolutely adorable magnetic bookmarks from Bonitismo. Look at the cute Dragon and Phoenix!

There is a promotional card for Fallen by Laren Kate.

As this is the One Year Anniversary Box Fairyloot has included a special newsletter…

It talks about the creators of Fairyloot…

image

How Fairyloot got started…

image

The progress they have made…

image

And the boxes they have released.

Now it’s time for the book. As always, the book comes in a special Fairyloot book bag. This is a brilliant feature of this box that I particularly love.

The book this month was:

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

image

This is an absolutely stunning book.

image

It is even signed by the author.

image

And has blue page edges.

image

There is a letter from Laini Taylor about the book.

There is also merchandise to go with the book.

It has an interview from the author, a what to read next section…

And a sneak peek at the theme for next month. The April theme was:

DREAMS & WISHES

I love receiving Fairyloot boxes, they are always so magical and this one especially so. I love everything in this box and am very excited to get to the book. What was your favourite item from the box?

Keep Calm and Read On,
