UNBOXING: MAY 2017 ONCE UPON A YOUNG ADULT BOOK CLUB BOX

Once Upon A Book Club Box is a monthly book subscription box based out of the U.S. I loved the idea of an interactive subscription service with a read-a-long and gifts that you opened as you got to certain parts of the book. The gifts link into the story and add the extra element. This is the second Young Adult Box that has been sent out. The theme for this box was:

HURRICANES & HEART-ACHE

When the box is first opened this is what you see.

The book in this months box was: Between Two Skies by Joanne O’Sullivan

Each month there is an art print with a quote from the book.

There is a newsletter in the box with the monthly read along dates and questions pertaining to the book.

The first gift in the box is a hairbrush. The link to the box is where Evangeline is reminiscing about her grandmother and brushing her hair.

The tab for this gift was a little smaller.

The gift was a little headband. This links into the book as Evangeline was wearing a headband at a school dance.

The third gift was to be opened on Page 104.

That’s it for the second Young Adult box. I really enjoyed the interactive quality of this box and the way the gifts link into the plot of the book.

Keep Calm and Read On,
