Fairyloot is a monthly subscription box based in the U.K. that focuses on Fantasy books. I have been a subscriber to this box since June 2016. I love this box, it keeps getting better and better. The theme for June was:
When the box is opened this is what you see.
The first item in the box is a candle from Witchwood Remedies. There were five different types sent out. I got Skyfire. The different styles are themed after the different storms in the book.
The second item in the box is an Avatar themed lip balm from Geeky Clean. I got Fire Bender.
The third item is a Hamsa Hand Bracelet. The Hamsa Hand is a protective symbol that is said to bring the owner happiness, luck, health, and good fortune. This item was created by In The Moment.
The fourth item is this Clairvoyance soap from Ascent Bath and Body.
The fifth item are these potion sticky notes that were created by Fairyloot.
The sixth item in the box is this amazing looking pillow case from Miss Phi.
It’s time for the book:
I love that the books come in these little pouches. I reuse the pouches for my books.
The book in this months box was:
There is a letter from the author…
…and a signed bookplate for the book.
A new feature in the fairy loot boxes are these exclusive bookmarks.
Another feature of the Fairyloot boxe is the Buddy Reading program. Subscribers are given a hashtag and can link up with another person with the same hashtag to buddy read the book.
A sampler of The Waking Land by Callie Bates was included in the box.
As well as a postcard promoting Frostblood by Elly Blake.
The images on the Fairyloot Spoiler Cards are always stunning.
On the back is a list of the items included in the box.
Fairyscoop is the monthly Fairyloot newsletter.
There is an interview with the author of the month and recommendations for what to read after you finish the book of the month.
The back page has a sneak peek at the theme for July.
This was a great box. My favourite items are the candle and the pillow case. What is your favourite item from the box? Let me know in the comments.
Keep Calm and Read On,
