I know how desperately she wants me and this letter gives me all the reason I need to spend one night with the girl from the wrong side of town. One night in exchange for her tight investigative skills. And believe me, she’s tight, in more ways than one. Just one night. Because Miranda is trouble and being on the city council, as well as guardian to my younger brother and sister, means I can’t afford trouble.
Even if it comes packaged just the way I like.
REVIEW:
Wet is definitely a romance adult novel centered between town harlot Miranda and Ryan, a man raising his brother and sister and working on the town council. There is an underlying storyline of Ryan’s life raising his brother and sister and some mysterious corporation wanting to buy his land rights. Otherwise, there are plenty, and I mean plenty of intimate scenes between the two main characters; boy do they have chemistry. The pun-ish title works in two ways, it could be a reference to the intimate relations between the two main characters but it also works in relation to Ryan’s land and water rights which a corporation wishes to buy. This book is told in alternating chapters from Miranda and Ryan’s perspectives.
In the small town of Lone Star Miranda’s wild teenage ways have come to give her a loose reputation, which Miranda doesn’t mind as a reporter, unless men get the wrong impression. Ryan has worked keep his reputation spotless and maintain his position on the town council for his brother and sister. When he gets involved with Miranda though, all bets are off. The concept of opposites attract is explored here and these two really heat up the pages.
Overall, this book was chock-full of steamy scenes with an underlying storyline which kept the plot moving. The characters were interesting and three dimensional.

Ashley Bostock was born and raised in Colorado where she currently resides with her husband, two children, her dog and two cats.
She loves reading, writing, and music and is always trying to find more time in the day to incorporate all three. Seeking an outlet and pursuing her life-long passion for writing, she began composing her first novel in late 2013.
She has traveled all over the world, but still has an extensive list of places she would love to visit. Anywhere near a sky-blue ocean will always be at the top of that list.
She carries a Bachelor’s Degree in History with a concentration in Elementary Education from Metropolitan State College of Denver. While she loves children, she now fears teaching, which probably has something to do with being a stay-at-home mom.
