A fun summer contemporary read based at Summer Camp. I loved the Summer Camp element of this book. The writing was amazing and the summer-y vibes were brilliant. I loved the fun summer camp feel of this novel. This reads like a brilliant romantic comedy movie that left me smiling.
Gigi is running away from life and becomes a camp councillor at her old childhood camp. The fun commotion between Gigi and Perry had me laughing as I turned the pages. The development of these two characters was amazing to read.
This debut novel is amazing with fantastic summer vibes. Never having gone to summer camp before I loved getting a slice of it in this novel. I loved everything about this book. With a fantastic writing style which was light and heartwarming.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Beth Merlin has a BA from The George Washington University where she minored in Creative Writing and a JD from New York Law School. She’s a native New Yorker who loves anything Broadway, rom-coms, her daughter Hadley, and a good maxi dress. She was introduced to her husband through a friend she met at sleepaway camp and considers the eight summers she spent there to be some of the most formative of her life. One S’more Summer is Beth’s debut novel.
